As a Nest.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using the Nest.js framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust and scalable solutions that meet client requirements. Your role will involve writing clean and efficient code, implementing APIs, and ensuring the overall performance and reliability of the applications.
Job Responsibility
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients and other developers, to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Design and develop server-side applications using the Nest.js framework, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end functionality and external integrations.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Nest.js features, libraries, and industry trends to suggest improvements and drive innovation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with the Nest.js framework.
- Sound understanding of server-side development principles, design patterns, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with database systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and proficiency in writing optimized queries.
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, and proficiency in using development tools and IDEs.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience as a Nest.js Developer or relevant back-end development experience is preferred.
